Position summary:
This position is responsible for creating drawings, specifications and performing calculations to design precision equipment to meet the customers’ expectations, timelines and requirements. Experience in the manufacturing industry in addition to a solid understanding of industrial machining and metal fabrication & welding practices.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for designing a complete project from concept to manufacturing including assembly and testing.
• Responsible for designing a complete project from concept to manufacturing including assembly and testing.
• Generate bill of materials and drawings for manufacturing.
• Provide technical support to the specifications of customer requests.
• Investigate and address quality control and manufacturing concerns with designs.
• Research, design, evaluate, assist in the assembly, and testing of equipment and systems.
• Design projects from concept to completion assisting as needed to ensure delivery timelines.
• Design engineering utilizing SolidWorks (or similar CAD system)to generate drawings and solid models.
• Collaborate with machining, fabrication and assembly in troubleshooting and innovating for future projects.
• Evaluate equipment and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Qualifications:
• Experience in an equipment manufacturing environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including strong listening skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects of all sizes simultaneously and work independently.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
Compensation: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
